Refugium

Hey guys! So I'm new to reefing started a few months back. I set up a refugium for my reefer 250 and don't know if my cheato is supposed to be covered in bubbles, also have bubbles everywhere along the glass. I had a rock in there but took it out because it had a bunch of bubbles on it. Do you think it might be bubble algae? The refugium gets fed by my return pump and then drains back into the sump.

The bubbles are oxygen produced by photosynthesis. That’s a sign the algae is doing well.

yes absolutely.. But it also seems like a bit of cyano on the glass,etc..
Not a serious problem at all and fairly normal for a new fuge..

Ok thanks, I thought it was an issue I needed to adjust so it wouldn't kill my cheato.
