Refugium

I want to add one to my 125 gallon but can't modify my current sump to accomodate one in the sump. Anyone have pictures of add on refugiums you are using down by your sumps?

I do have room in the stand but not above the sump. I may need to get a new sump to make things work.

I have just set up my 125, and I'm using the Refugium for my 55 untill I buy a bigger one. My set up is really easy. Off one of the drain lines I put T in and piped the water into the refugium. To help control the flow I stuck a ball valve on the end of the tube.

I build the Refugium out of 1/2" acrylic, but i'm just going to use a 30 tall for my next one. Then I just drilled a hole, put in a bulkhead, and piped it down to my sump.

Those lights work great, I leave them on 24/7, no effect on the tanks temp. I hope that helped.. Good Luck..

Ive build stands for a tank to rest with its upper edge above the sump and gravity fed into the sump. I have a acrylic tank thats roughly 30" wide by 12" front to back by 24" or so tall Gotta chek the dimensions for sure) It has two holes drilled on the top narrow side with bulkheads and if it would fit will work niely as a refugium.... I was going to use it but decided to use a75 instead, let me know if you interested and Ill send you a pic. Would work similiar to Jolu's setup
