Refugium

Good afternoon everyone I was hoping someone could ID something in my refugium. These things have been in the refugium for a while but I have never seen them in the main tank. Lately I have noticed quite a bite more in the fuge on the glass and on the calurpa. Thanks in advance for any help. Has anyone ever thought of a forum for pictures of the unknown in our tanks to help with Id's or does one already exist that I don't know about. Thanks again.http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/74464refugium-med.jpg :)

I cant identify them, but I can say they look like there a little out of control! I dont think there flat worms, but I have never seen them in person (YET, knock on wood)

I would suggest a Pseudocheilinus wrasse to be added, if you dont already have one. they help to maintain this type of critter, so they dont overpopulate. The Sixline Wrasse would be my last choice from that family, as they get fairly bold to new comers once there "accustomed" to there environment.

I personally have a Disappearing or Vanishing Wrasse, (Pseudocheilinus evanidus)

they are red flatworms...salifert's flatworm exit works well. best to treat the sump only (turn pump off) and use 2x the recommended dose...and follow their instructions carefully.. it worked for me.

Looks like flatworms. keep an eye out and dont let them get into your main tank casue it will be a lot of fun getting them out. Flatworm exit works well. If you have corals you might want to quarantine any rocks with the flatworms for treatment.
