I am inclined to upgrade my current system from a Berlin style filtration to a refugium. Now I have been doing a lot of reading and from what I gather, I need to have the system running 4-6 week before introducing live stock. My Tank is 150 Gal so I will be draining and installing the Refugium the same day while putting in a close loop as well. So someone please tell me I will not kill the current inhabitants, which include corals as well. I do not have a separate tank to hold my best friends for 4-6 weeks.
