I have a Regal Angel in my Fowlr But I was wanting to move him to my new reef. I hear that they are ok with sps and leathers. I know they will eat ZOO's up but what about LPS's which are my favorite!

Thanks
Aaron

In Scott w. Micheal's book Marine pocket Guide he says that they won't bother SPS or leathers. I saw a Tank of the month tread where the guy had on in with mushrooms,SPS, LPS! I was just wondering if that was a good idea?

MortenN who was tank of the month on January...... has two Regal Anges in his 90 galon tank.

I guess I'm about to find out as I have a 3 1/2" Regal coming out of 'solitary' in another few days.

I have one in my mixed reef and he doesnt touch anything. This is the second one i have had without any issues, i had a powerprolem and the lost the first.

My regal is the Indo version and has been relatively good in my sps reef.

Back when I was keeping some lps, it really enjoyed my trachyphillia and caulastrea corals, however. I just removed those corals and then recovered over time. It doesn't touch my sps or zoo's.

Is it eating?

Yep. Probably healther than I do: Mysis, Formula One & Two, Prime Reef, Pro-V, Spectrum Pellets, Oyster and Clam on the half shell.

What I've NOT seen him touch yet are zoos, LPS, or SPS corals and the tank he is currently in contains all three.

they love clams on a half shell, mine sees it through the glass and is like a little kid at xmas.

well I got a few mixed views. The guy at the LFS has one in his sps with no problems but he said he said he's not sure about any other coral. He feeds his New Life Spetrum pellets he said it is very HIGH end but worth the extra money.

I have two Red Sea varieties in my 225 with sps, clams, acans and a few zoos. They have never bothered anything. Once they are well acclimated they will eat lots of things. Mine are primarily fed mysis shrimp.

Read that link I provided. Like i said they are 50/50 with any corals, but most that are able to keep them have luck with SPS. The ones that eat corals usually go after LPS. There no mixed review. If you have'nt read that link then do not buy this fish as it's a delicate fish.
