hey yall.. just had quick question..

I am currently acclimating my penny sized regal tank..and hes doin somethin thats scarin me..

heck swimm around and then looks like hes laying down or something (lol playing dead like a possum) then get back up and swim around perfectly..

is that just a sign of stress because of his move or is that a sign of a bad fish??

any help would be greatefull.. thanx yall and have a good weekend

FW dip him pronto. I had a Regal that did that - it had a residual crypt infection that didn't show up until he began "lying" down, it progressed to get worse and worse and when i set up a hospital and copper it was too late. These fish are crypt magnets be very careful with them.

It can be stress but hippos are known to lay on their sides usually they try to wedge themselves between the rock work for safety and to sleep at night.. I wouldnt do a FW dip could be more harm then good i would just wait it out should be fine..
