Reintroducing quarantined blue hippo

Hey RC I was wondering what methods to use reintroducing my blue hippo to my DT. I was having issues with ich so I quarantined the fish and treated them with cupramine. It's been about 8 weeks and thankfully she's been doing great!! Now it's time to head back with the others. What's the next step? Any help will be appreciated ty!

The tank had ich too? If so were all the fish treated for ich? Some people will say 60 days isn't enough fallow in the display tank to completely kill off the ich preferring 75 - 90 days from what I've read on here.

i was thinking "them" is all the fish. but "back with others" has me confused.
so did you treat all fish? would need to know to indicate if there would even be a next step or a start from beginning.

Sorry for the misunderstanding guys.. only the blue hippo had ich. As soon as I saw a few spots I removed and quarantined. Other fish in the DT are 2 clowns, 1 sailfin, 1 yellow tang, LTA, 1 sand sifting star and coral. I haven't seen any other fish in the DT with ich but dosed the tank with paraguard. Also it's a 150g setup with 40g fuge.

The hippo will get ich again as soon as it goes in the tank. Every fish has to come out and get treated and the tank has to sit with no fish for 75 - 90 days depending on who you're talking to

You may get lucky but treating only one fish was probably a waste of time. You just have to hope the blue tang is strong enough to fight off the ich when it goes back in the display. If you're not up for treating them all I would see how it goes when he is added back. It will likely start showing spots again but may be healthy enough to get past it.

Thanks for the input. I will do my best hopefully it'll work out if not I'll start from square one with all the fish. Thanks again and happy holidays to all!
