Hi everyone. I have 100 lbs of rock I'm want to bring back to life. How do you seed? How long? Which type of rock is best? Where is the best pricing?

Please delete on of you post also if you seed with live I just slightly increases the cycle time but not by much at all..

The best way to seed live rock is to buy some instant bacteria. If some of the rock you have is still LIVE then just add it to the live rock, use a skimmer and put a damsel in the rock tank. You need to start a little mini cycle.

Instant bacteria is just a band aid for your tank when it's not ready for live stock. What you seek here is a long term solution. So seeding the rock with live rock and wait 3-6 months is the best way
