Reliable place to order live stock?

Hey everyone,

Other than a LFS, where does everyone buy their live stock? I've been trying to get s porcupine puffer, but my LFS has had some trouble getting one in. I like the idea of ordering online, but I bet shipping makes it almost double the cost.

Thoughts?

With ordering something online, wait until you can put a bunch of stuff in there. That way shipping cost gets divided up.

I agree with LA/DD! Customer service is excellent. We ordered a $150 CUC from them, when it came in the water was pretty warm because they put the packets of hand warmers in to keep it warm. I called and they told e to start making a list of what didn't make it and to take a few days to make sure what was alive did not die. Well, it turns out that $110 worth of it died. They gave me a full refund (via credit) and resent the items to me for my trouble!

Yeah its better to do bulk orders when buying online. Ordering just one thing wastes too much money to shipping. You could even split the costs if you have someone local to you that wants to get a couple things from the same site.

If you got a local reefer or two nearby you can combine an order.

I just purchased fresh gulf live rock from eBay andit has the most creatures and plants and all kinds of things that I have ever seen on any website. GREAT STUFF!
