ANYBODY HAD SUCCESS REMOVING A SALLEY LIGHT FOOT CRAB?

IT'S EATING MY CLAM! NEED IT OUT, BUT HOW? IDEAS?

i have a sure fire strategy!

it is very simple.

all it requires is a syphon, and a drain!

seriously, besides draining he entire tank, the only other solution i to bait it.

you can build a mini crab trap, or maybe use the old rubber band needle spear trick. get 'em right between he eyes, and straight into a pot.

Move the clam into a clear area where you can grab the crab when he next has lunch?

Yall ever see a light foot crab move. Their not called light foot for nothing they move like lightning. I'll probably have to trap it.

Short of removing all your live rock... I think you're right, only choice but to try and trap it. Seem to catch a ton of crabs with a clear baited bottle with the opening turned in. Hope this helps
