Remora AquaC for 75gal?

Hello all, I have a Remora AquaC skimmer. I was wondering if this is a good skimmer for a 75gal tank with a eshoppe r-100 refugium (about another 15gal).
Currently it has a maxijet 1200 on it, but I have a magdrive 7 I can upgrade to if needed.

You will need another skimmer to supplement for the rest of the skimming. I would recommend a skimmer rated for 150g for your 75g. I to twice the tank size on skimmers... Hope this helps.

I have an AquaC Remora except the pro model with a mag 3 on a 75gl with a 15gl sump and it has worked flawlessly for 2 years. The biggest question is what type of bio-load do you have on the tank and with that do you have plenty of live rock to help offset it?

IMHO Keep what you have except upgrade the pump. If you want to use the mag pump you have just use a shutoff to slow the amount of flow down.

Thanks for all the suggestions, as I found out that the remora aquaC was hanging on the back of my refugium in the return area, It was only sucking up its own water, therefor not really doing a good job. I just got a E.T.S.S ReefDevil, plumbed it all into another tank just for skimming. So far no leaks and working great. Hooked my Rio 3100 up to it and it is loaded with bubbles and pulling all kinds of stuff out of the water already. This tank is still only 2 weeks old with 300lbs of rock, no fish or anything yet still cycling, but just trying to get all the big things squared away now. Thanks again.
