Remora Nano vs Remora

Does anyone here know if the regular Remora skimmer will fit in the back chamber of an Aquapod 24?

Looks like we are going down the same path. I just ordered my aquapod 24 with the 150w metal halide. I am planning on going with the Remora also (still looking for one). I have read that it will fit off the back of the aquapod ok. Are you doing any mods to the aquapod?

I am just planning to move the outlet a little down further so its not so close to the top of the tank and using a maxi jet 1200. What kind of mods are you planning? I am on the fence about the Remora and the Remora nano. I also plan on running an aquaclear to run carbon and phosphate remover.
Did you order yours online? I ordered mine form Drs Foster and Smith, the price was great, but I am waiting for the 3rd tank, the first one had a blemish in the bend of the glass and the second one had two deep scratches on the outside of the glass, neither you could see without water in the tank. The customer service has been great though. Keep your fingers crossed on this third one for me!!

I ordered mine from Drs Foster & Smith also. I plan on drilling the tank for two returns and attaching a Y connecter with lock line with the maxi jet 1200’s alternating (one on one off). The pumps will be controlled by an aquacontroller Jr. This should create a nice random flow. For the auto top off I am going to use the JBJ a.t.o. unit with a diy kalk reactor. Good idea about the aqua clear. I plan on using one as a refugium. Are you going with the remora? Have you found a good price on them? I am pretty sure I am going to use the remora. I am still in the planning stage. Hope your next tank comes in one piece. Wish me luck also.

Good luck!! Sounds like a good plan. The first tank came with just a flow directer, but the second tank came with loc line with a y connecter, wierd. I kept the loc line out of the shipment I sent back though, just in case this one doesnt come with one. I am looking for a used remora or remora nano right now. I will let you know if I come across another one at a good price. =)
