Remora Skimmer

I have a 12 gallon aquapod and i am intrested in a remora skimmer. Will it replace my filter in my aqua pod? And does it go in the sump?

it will not fit in your aquapod unless your tank has no lid. (ie you are using a halide over it)

will it replace your filtration? well it wont replace anything per se - but is a great addition to the system.

Remora just cme out with a Nano version. Go to marine depot online to view. I have one in my 24 gal Aquapod.

the nano version still will not work on your aquapod if you have the lid on it. it is still a hang on back skimmer - just a smaller form factor.

It is also not released yet - that is why you arent finding it on marinedepot.com

Has anyone just dremeled/cut the back of the lid to fit the Remora. Youd lose one hinge but.........
