I just over hauled this tank as the last tech let it go.
Now I need to stock it and relocate a 22" Remora
I have looked all over the web and I was not able to find info on a Remora fish.
I looked for threads-NADA
I looked for video on youtube I found lots of open water video but none in the home aquarium.

So I thought I would take a moment to share what I have learned. And post some video.
A Remora is NOT a shark as most believe it to be.-Just looks like one.
They will grow to a length of 3' in about 24-30 months so that rules out ALL standard aquariums.
They can swim fast enough to eat anything it can fit in it's mouth including tank mates.
The need to be feed first till he is full-As I observed him inhaling a green chromes damsel taking flake food. That's one way to catch a damsel.:eek1:

Here is a video of a small 9" Remora in a aquarium at the Crazy Crab on Hilton Head (North End)
I found this video on online it was posted by a customer 8 months ago.

And a more recent video.

I am actively seeking a new home for this Remora and few other predatory fish that are currently keeping me from restocking the tank-Not for sale at this time as I have a few responsible locals with 1,200 plus aquariums/ponds that have expressed interest and can't be shipped.

Remora has a new home.

Remora has a new home.

The remora has been relocated to a 1,250 gallon pond.
