Remote flash?

My first wide angle shot while outside ;) I really like this lens.

It was crazy, when actually there by the bluff and taking the picture, that sign doesnt look like it should be anywhere near being the in the shot. I was actually almost dizzy for a second (which isnt good near a 200' drop off) when I pulled the camera away from my eye and saw how far away the sign actually was.

Anyway, I'm going to have fun with this lens :)

Beautiful Recty! Im not sure what I want more now, the f/2.8 105mm Macro or the f/3.5 12-24mm! I take more shots away from my tank so the 12-24 is tempting!

I kind of want to get into HDR which a lot of that really benefits from a wide angle lens, so I went ahead and got this one.

Who makes the f/3.5 12-24? I guess that isnt a Canon brand lens?

Whoops! Typo. My bad.

Its a Nikon Nikkor lens that just came out for the Nikon DX bodies, but its a 10-24mm f/3.5.

Its the same price as my D5000 kit (~$800), so it wont be anytime soon :lmao:

My next "investment" that will be made torward my photography hobby will be a good tripod/ball head. Once thats done, I'll start stashing away for some glass!

Yeah, I think a good tripod will be my next purchase as well... I'm not going for anything too crazy though, you can spend upwards of $500 or $1000 pretty easily.
