removing an attached rbta

so my huge rbta split into four. at first i thought it was kinda cool now their getting big and being adventurous wandering around the rocks. they stay to one side of the tank but i would be heartbroken if one of them ventured out and killed some lps or sps. i think i'd like to sell a few of them ,so how do i get them to release their foot on the rock? i've tried before just to pry it gently with my fingers but it didn't work and they got angry

is it not possible to remove them?

what i do with mine is rub my finger on their foot right where it attaches to the rock. and i will start to ez up. i have always had luck with that method. some people turn a powerhead flow right on them.... i have never had luck with that way. good luck
