Just been removing some of my bio balls out of my weir and i found two fish in there one was dead an rooting slowly (one of my 7 cromis) and the other was my algae blenie which was fine. he couldn't have been in there long as i had seen him yesterday morning....
I then syphoned out the debris at the bottom and it was unbelivalble what was there, can't wait to get rid of them all.
Going to put some LR in there, probably on an egg crate stand so i can still syphon the bottem easily.....
What i realy want to no (and it's probly a stupid question) but dose live rock still function as well without light. For example in by pitch black sump....

Live Rock will function in dark. Whether or not it is "as well"
I doubt.
Be sure to remove bio balls a little at a time so as not to
cause cycle.
