I moved the Kole to a 30 gallon tank and after treating with Prazipro, and then about 3 weeks in copper, the Kole Tang is looking healthy again!

Now I'd like to get rid of the copper and transfer the Kole to a larger isolation tank. What's the best way to run carbon (and how long) so that when I transfer the Kole I don't add any residual copper to the new tank?
I've already got a sponge filter and power head in the tank with copper. Assuming that anything I put in this tank will forever be copper contaminated, is there an easy way to run carbon?
