Removing encrusted frag off an ORA plug.

What is the best way to remove an encrusted frag off an ORA plug? This is my first go around for an ORA plug and want to take the frag off with the encrusted part if possible. Any suggestions or other ways to work with theORA plug?

If you squeeze under the lip with s pair of pliers, it should pop right off. Or clip the vertical growth and mount then grow the encrusting portion out again

Hate those plugs...Hate those plugs...Hate those plugs. if not too encrusted, squeezing the lip with pliers can pop them out. Careful, I've dropped at least one frag when it came loose that way. If it's really encrusted, you might be better off just cutting the frag off, then you'll have two frags (but you'll still have to deal with that #$!* plug on one of them).

Dremel tool or other similar means such as band saw. Nothing else is anywhere near as effective. Those plugs suck.

I love ORA. If they have what I am looking for they are the only place I go. Tried the pliers, dremel and saw. All are difficult at best. I really wonder why ORA uses the darn things when they get such bad feed back.
