removing hydroids?

Got a few colonies spread through the tank. All I can find to get rid of them is cut back feeding, but think I'm a a minimum now for my fish load. Skimmer is also working fine.

They're pretty much impossible to remove.

The most effective treatment I've found is to cover them in epoxy putty and put a shell or rubble on the epoxy to hide it.

They've always eventually popped up around the epoxy when I've tried that. I've had best luck using a drill and masonry bit. Their tubes go deep so you have to dill pretty deep. But it provides a good spot to mount frags in the end.
