Removing shrooms?

I've got quite a few that have spread all over the place that id like to stop from encroaching on other stuff in my tank. Other than letting my anemone or my hammer sting them to the point to where they detach or peeling them off the rock with a razor blade (which has no guarantee of not leaving bits and a source for new mushrooms to grow) or the power head method which usually just makes them shrink but not detach. Im to the point to where they have become enough of a nuisance im about to just pull a piece of the smaller rocks at a time and cook them and then re-introduce the rock in a month or two.. On the larger base rocks, im not sure about how to go about it other than just cutting them out which is more of an abatement than anything..

you can cut off what you can get with a razor blade and the use an aptasia killer on the base. Or hot water injected into them. But you should spread the wealth to those on this site if at all possible.:celeb1:

when i cull i put the leftovers up for free on the local forums, so i do spread the wealth.. just no demand around here for the green striped ones.

I have the same problem with some red shrooms. I have scraped them off before and they grow back. I'm afraid to use kalk paste because the the sps all around them. The rock is too big to remove. I'm thinking of using a wood chisel and just scrape the mushroom and the rock to get them off while siphoning next to it. If anything remains I think I'll cover with epoxy.

any other ideas out there????
