Would anyone buy a tank that was repaired by a glass shop? A little history: I was buying a used 93 gallon rimless cube (Marineland) but prior to obtaining the tank the sellers movers cracked the front panel. The seller took it to a glass shop that "supposable" contacted the original fish store and replaced the broken panel with original glass. I told them "no thanks." Now I'm having second thoughts, I like the size style etc of the tank- and really want to get back into the hobby.
Included with the tank would be a stand and a decent return pump for 300.00. I can get this tank new for appx. 500.00 (tank only) at a LFS in Grand Junction, about an hour away. The bonus is really the stand and return pump. I just worry about a panel blow out. (my gut says don't do it grasshopper) Opinions appreciated!
