Repairing tank

Anyone have any tips or tricks to getting the bottom glass off of the aquarium.. My primary seal blew.. So I am going to replace it... I've replaced the bottom glass before when the glass was broken...
I am finding it quite difficult to separate it... And not break it... Bottom glass is 1/4 inch tempered glass..
Tank is a 150 gallon tall

Use a razor blade to cut the silicone. I have Also uses thin strong like a thin string fishing line to slowly cut the seal

I've tried both so far... My fishing line keeps just cutting and breaking... I'm using 50 Lb spider wire.. 10 lb diameter... And I can't seem to get my razor blade to get between the panes of glass... Without fracturing small prices of the tank sides off.. I have successfully separated the entire front.. But that is where the seal originally failed

I've removed car windshields before.. But they have a much larger gap where the sealer is... I'm guessing I have about a .001 to .005 gap between the bottom glass and the sides..

I case anyone else is having the same problem... I used a hack saw blade... And was able to work it into the seam... And then used a knife as a lightweight hammer to tap it all the way around the circumference of the seam to separate the bottom from the rest of the tank.. A bit hillbilly.. But then again.. I am hillbilly lol
