Replaced RODI filters tonight.

My water started reading 001, and since the filters were ~1yr old I changed them all out. What a pain that DI resin is...holy moly.

To those who haven't done it yet, check out BRS TV video on YouTube about it. It must take some practice to not get it in the threads, I did get it in there but it worked. Triple donuts...

wow you made it a year on one set of Replacements.. I change Sediment every month carbon 3 months and Resin prob twice a Year. Sometimes more often..

I Just spray the Resin Out with sprayer on the sink and then put the new resin in with a spoon Takes about 2 minutes. oh i usually get 2 to 2.5 years out of the Membranes . i have dual membrane Dual Di Resin so can produce 150 gpd

I'm 75g per day and a nano tank guy so I only go through 5g a week. The DI resin needs to be packet hard though that's why it stinks when you put the cap on it.

Yes i forgot to mention i use a metal heavy pepper grinder upside down that is very heavy to tamp it down...putting a few spoon fulls in at a time..It Just fits inside the canister

You can use a piece of pvc pipe with a cap on it as well

A funnel works wonders with a measuring cup. While filling I just tap the cartridge on the counter to settle it down.

I use a jam funnel. I has a very wide mouth that fits perfectly into the Resin canister.
