Hi -
My tank is 4 months old:
26g
Fluvia 205 Canister Filter
20 lbs LR, ~8lbs Dry (that was 4 months ago)
25lb live aragonite sand
2 Turbo, 2 Trochus
10 hermits (blue and red leg)
1 False Percula
0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
1.5 Nitrate
8.2ish PH
79-80 Water temp
The canister MUST go!
I have an AquaC Remora HOB skimmer with the pre-skimmer basket due to arrive on Tuesday from marinedepot, along with a Hydor Powerhead (550gph).
Question.... How should I go about switching to the skimmer?
Should I just start running the AquaC and turn off the canister? Or leave it running for a while? Or should I just turn the dang thing off now?
Thanks for any opinions!
