Replacing MH bulbs

How often would the bulbs of a 175 watt MH pendants need to be replaced if they are on a PFO ballast?

Depends on how long you run them each day, but a good rule of thumb IMO is 1 year on the extremely safe side, two years on the high side. I would not change them at less than one year even at 12 hours a day. I shoot for 18 months on my 175w XM's which reminds me that I probably should be changing them soon.
