Replumbing my sump

Looking for some ideas on replumbing my sump. Where to put ball valves, check valves, ect? My current config is misting bubbles into my tank. Is that a problem with a fish-anemone tank?

No little bubbles wont hurt anything, you might not like it but the inhabitants wont have a negative affect by it.
I would place ball valves anywhere you would want to have control of flow, to spedd it up or slow it down. People us ethem on return lines, drain lines.
The check valves go inline with the retun pump, right after it, so if you loose power the water from the tank wont be able to drain back intot he sump and possibly overflow.
The sump and the tanks water level will stay the same at all times.

I would plumb as follows: from sump, bulkhead, to ball valve, to adapter(schedule 80 remavable screw on/off w/gasket), to external pump, to return flex pvc hose to locline. do not like check valves, reduce too much flow and wear down longetivity of pump impeller. Put loc line about an inch or two below the surface of the water depending on size of sump.
