Repositioning the LR with BTA attached to it...

I had repositioned the LR that got BTA attached to it when I was cleaning up the mess on the sand bed from back of the tank to the top then I have reconfigured one of the PHs that will be circulating the water at full force at the back of the tank but within in few hours the BTA decided to go back to the back of the tank where it used to be...why and the flow is stronger on that end than what it used to be...
