Hey guys, a few months ago, I asked if I could get some of you to get some some full tank shots, but I never got to see any of them. I'm setting up a 55 here soon with intention of it being an octo tank. I have a chance to get about 80 lbs of some LR at a pretty good deal, but I'm not sure that I should use that much in a tank that small. As I'm setting it up, I want to be able to duplicate to some extent what you successful guys are already doing for your aquascape. Please give me some idea of what yours look like.
TIA
Mike

Heres my 75 dont know how much it will help.

FWIW- Better make sure your LR is not gonna come crashing down on your octo. that happened to a friend of mine after he stacked it as if it was a reef structure, instead of planning on a suckered arm moving the base rocks.

Good luck:)

Milhouse,

I posted a full tank shot not long ago. One thing you may want to consider if you have live rock, as opposed to lace rock which I use, is that you may need PC's or VHO's. As you know, this will raise the temp of the water to the low 80's. Just be sure you keep this in mind when you get the Octo as some of them are pacific Octo's and like it cooler.
Good luck and be sure to show some pics when you're done.

Bill
