Scopas Tang currently showing white(salt light) dots. Eating healthy, active swimmer, shows no other signs of issues.

Coral Beauty, purchased from the same tank at Scopas Tang, Very minimal white (salty) dots. Not as many as the Tang but it has caught my eye.

Due to being directly after the holiday and directly before rent is due. Money is severly tight. I have access to a few 35 gallon Hex tank that i will be taking home today. My loving GF bought me a $50 gift certificate to my favorite LFS. The tank i am getting only has a stand, tank, cover. No lighting or filtration. Im looking for the best for my fish and a proven treatment that will not break the bank.

My plans were to pick up some Cupramine for treatment. I know a few local guys that i can snag a H.o.b filter from and i still have a Nano power head for added movement.

I look forward to insight from experiened people and am greatful for any and all help. Another concern of mine is the Cupramine and coral beauty? should i be concerned?

Went to Petsmart during lunch. Picked up a 10 gallon setup with lights, filter, also got an amonia alert and air stone.

What would reccomended foods be while is the hospital tank? Pellets? flake? rods reed food?

10 gal is really small for your fish list; but I guess it could be done; especially if the tang & FF are still small. Feed them their regular diet. Be sure they have places to hide; pieces of PVC work well. I would plan on lots of WCs.
I don't know how mandarins handle copper; someone will chime in. I've never heard anything negative though; but, assuming his diet is mostly pods, he's going to be hard to feed.

I didnt plan on putting the Mandarin into the quarintine tank anytime soon.

Since i went with a smaller than planned tank. I will add the Scopas Tang and Coral beauty. Im not looking foward to catching them. i pray they catch easy. headed to my LFS after work to pick up some cupramin and possibly a heater.

Sorry, but If you don't treat all of your fish and leave the DT fishless for 8+ weeks; you still have ich in your tank and the fish will be re-infected as soon as you return them. Just because you can't see ich doesn't mean it isn't there. You will almost certainly see it on your other fish soon.(maybe not the mandarin; they're very resistant to ich, but not immune). Basically; your tank has ich, not just two fish.

Thats kind of what i figured. Unfortunetly i dont have a big quarintine tank. i will have to make due...tonight i start catching the fish and see how that goes...
