Rescueing a STN Coral

Have any of you had success in stopping STN and getting a coral back to a

healthy state? If so, what do you think helped you succeed?

I have had some success, but it's really dependent on what is causing the STN to begin with. I've had some corals just STN and die for no apparent reason, some due to lighting, some to pests. I have found lighting to be the easily correctable one, otherwise recovery rate is pretty slim.

Ive had luck fragging the healthy part. If its a coral you dont care about it will survive.

This is so true. I had some problems with this colonies before, and it always

pulled thru. But this time STN is much worst and i lost one coraliniana frag

already.

I have had success with fragging corals that have started to STN but its hard to cut a frag that has started to STN because they are alot smaller well depending on how big the frag is but i have had corals that have started to STN then just stop and have recovered.
