i am rescuing a tank from a friend of the family. She knows nothing about it other than she has killed some of the corals that were in it and there are four fish in it. It is covered in a green algae at the moment.I am wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of fish these are and what kind of corals are there. I also would appreciate any suggestions to help get this back on track. i get it in a couple days so i will post more pictures at that point but this is what i have at the moment (not much i know). i will post the water results when i get them
thank you all for your help.two of the fish look like the same ones and the orange, white and black fish burrows and hides in the sand. i think the one is a twin spot wrasse and the other im guessing is a saddle clownfish.

i would like to save the corals for my 36 gallon tank although im not sure how to get rid of the algae first. the fish i will most likely sell due to compatibilty with what i have. also if i place a algae covered rock in my hang on the back refrigum on my 36 will it spread into my tank?

thank you for all your help

Look up peroxide dipping for getting rid of the hair algae. If done right some of the corals might be saved. Or if it was me, try and detach the coral colonies from the rockwork and then deal with the algae.
