Resealing a tank

can anyone tell me how to get the plastic trim off of a glass tank to reseal it?

No, LOTS of elbow grease and a razor! You'll have to run the blade along inside the trim to cut it loose and GENTLY pry it off. If you get too aggressive you will break the trim (and or the tank).

recommend a razor knife from Home Depot/Lowes so you can apply force. Make sure you remove all the old silicone before resealing.

They make a scraper with a 3 inch wide replacable blade with a handle. You can get them at lowes. That might save the hands.

If not, I think explosives are the way to go.
