Well my evil domino damsel finally died of old age. It started two tanks and wound up isolated in his own 10 gallon so he wouldn't beat tank mates up. Now I only have some pods and a couple snails in there so I'm exploring what I could put in there.

I've done urchins (pencil and false fire) in some of my tanks but want something more hearty and active... I'm thinking pistol or mantis shrimp maybe but not sure either would be wise in a 10 gallon glass tank.... It's low flow so maybe seahorses would be cool to have?

Anybody got other ideas?

I like the Mantis idea. I think the tank breakage might be a bit overstated.

I keep thinking a nano with inverts only and soft coral would be fun. Just snails, cleaner shrimp, and crabs. It wouldn't take much lighting. It would almost be like an aqua aunt colony. :)

Did you decide upon anything?
Was wondering the same thing too. We've had several members keep mantis in 10 gallon or smaller tanks so I wouldn't worry about that.
Seahorses are really cool though. :D

Not yet. I've been looking at horses and their care and trying to find a good source for a mantis. At this point though it's just a pod farm and boy are there some pods in there.
