I second that 10000% your probably the nicest guy i have every meet.....and willing to go out of your way to help a friend.............even if it is a couple of broke college kids!!!! haha
the club is loosing a great person and im sure they will soon understand their losses.

The "bully" who Murf refers to is me...the problem I have with his post, and his assertions is he takes absolutly no ownership in any of the matters that have occured, rather he portrays himself as the victim. Keep in mind this is an adult male calling another a bully...
Murf has been on the wrong side of the argument a few times, in particular by throwing a falsified email at me and accusing me of something an 4th grader could have figured out I did not do. Instead he pursued this angle, him and Eric slammed me at the only board meeting we had, when our agenda was to work on a framework for the club. Instead they spent the better part of an hour or two pushing this email, pinning me in a corner to defend myself, then they left without getting anything resolved. To add insult to injury, Murf continued to defend the person who gave him the fake email, even after it was proven beyond any doubt this person faked the email...not to mention he put her up to making a post to basically call me out....these are facts, and facts that have only been shared with a few, because I don't work the PM's and emails for the purposes of gossip, I am a straight shooter.
I feel like something needs to be said because I know for a fact there are backdoor PM's and emails going around attacking my character. It seems whenever Murf has the opportunity he takes the low road and creates a behind the scenes gossip session in which I cannot give my side of the story to.

i dont see why you would think murf is against the club. last time i was at his house he aasked me why i wasnt at the mereting and how i should show up more. that right there is indication he cares about cmas.

So the real Eric finally posts up. I am sure this thread will be shut down today so I will say my piece. You can't try and resolve this privately and insist on making it public, like you did with Keith then here it is, lets make it all public. If anyone wants copies of the emails email me at pjmurphy61@msn.com and I can forward every email I have from the board.
1st off, I want to apologize to Robert, Eric D and Todd. Again I thank you for your diligent, and hard work. What Eric D said in another post about Robert is 100% true, he is the true leader of this club.
I did bring an email that had allegedly been written by and anonymous club member to a woman who had been to one meeting but was interested in joining the club. The meeting in question was held at my house and she asked a question about LFS owners not being able to attend meetings. At the time she asked the question, there had been no "official" resolution to this matter. Let me digress, at the meeting in Castle Rock, back in June, Robert, myself and Eric rode in Eric's truck to CR for a meeting. We discussed the issue of LFs owners attending meetings. This was because at the time, The Haj wanted to come to meetings as a member not as an owner. I convinced them to allow the owners to attend, with stipulations and the signing of a memorandum of agreement between the LFS owner and the club that if the owner violated the MOA they would be asked to leave and not be allowed to return. Eric agreed to this. Robert really didn't hear much of the conversation as he was in the back with the radio on so he only heard bits and pieces. I left for vacation and while I was on vacation Eric decided that they did not want LFS owners to attend as members becausse some previous owner, tried to make the club his and was taking advantage of the club and its members. There was no MOA signed by this person, as far as I know. I was never told of this change in policy and only found out about it after the meeting at my house in Sept.
The person, user name Delta_zeta asked me the question at my house and I told her that I had no good answer and that she should post it up on the forum. Next thing you know she is being personally attacked because she is "instigating" trouble and has a "personal agenda" to try and ruin the club.
A few day later she pm'd me about an alleged email she recieved from a person who had the email user name of Lgreenw@hotmail.com, this is exactly the way it showed up in the email string, btw. It was sent anonymously to her, whomever sent it didn't have the intestinal fortitude to sign it. At the time, if you pulled up Eric L's user profile, it listed his email address as lgreenw@hotmail.com.
Eric D (Calvin) and myself did confront Eric L about this at at board meeting held at Robert's house. He denied sending the email and it was a long drawn out, very heated arguement with accusations flying. All in all, Eric D and I had to leave for other commitments (this meeting was a last minute meeting) so we were only there a little over and hour and a half. Before we left, I apologized to Eric L and the other board members for the accusation of Eric L. sending the email. I thought that was the end of it. We had resolved to get the by laws in place. This was assumed by Eric D which he did and emailed out to the board on 28 March.
After some investigation with the RC moderators, MSN email staff, it was determined that the email address was falsified and that the email did not pass throug RC mail servers. We, all 5 of us agreed that Delta_zeta should not be allowed to attend any meetings or be a member of the club and was sent a letter by the board stating this.
Racer69 then took the by laws and started massaging them to fit SCMAS.
The board was never contacted for another meeting, again by Eric L, he has my email, user ID for pms and phone number, both home and cell. He claims that he tried to get us to meet but the only phone call was about another member, Crit21 who got fed up and quit because he was accused of "an agenda" with another member who was causing problems in the forum. Crit was going to be kicked out of the club because of these issues with 3-2 vote.
The last straw for me was when Eric lied to you in the nominations thread and stated that he had a 3-2 person vote and didn't need mine or Eric D's vote as he had the backing of 2 other members. That is a flat out lie and I have the PM's to prove it. There was no meeting of the board on how the elections were to be put into effect, this is a work in progress. Hell, we still have till next Monday before the nominations are finished. So much for having to have a snap decision, right now.
I sent out an email to all the board members, yesteday, after the bashing Eric D took when he proposed how to run the elections (he had not been invited, as a board member, to put his input into this either). All he did was make a recommendation and he gets attacked for it. I sent an email to the board (BTW, I have every email that I have received or sent to the board members) that we need to get our shiate straight and work this out amonst ourselves. I also pointed out that Todd had emailed about the club purchasing a PAR meter for members to use. I voted against it because of the logistical nightmare of maintaining it. I never recieved anything back from the other 3 board members saying yea or nay. I also pointed out that only Robert had agreed to the purchasing of the BBQ food stuff by the club. The response I got back from Eric L was; "I don't have time right now
to deal with all of this, and honestly, this club is the least of my
concerns right now."
The club by laws state that any expenditures by the club must be voted on by the board and approved but I was told by Eric L that "the by laws are not binding until the new board is in place" or something to that effect.

Murf, I also think your resignation might have been in haste. Although I know that you have declined any nominations in the upcoming election, I still believe that you are as important to this club as I am (which may not be saying much! LOL). Please reconsider your resignation. Thanks.

I really can't believe you are airing out the dirty laundry here on the boards. Guys, I am just about done with all of you. I have a very nice reef setup now and I will have a very nice reef setup after all of this. The queston is will you all shut the hell up already!!!!!!!

on a lighter side of things i can confidently say that this is more reading then i have done since i have been in college!!!! i was supprised to see that murf wrote a small novel above!!!!!!!!!! lol jk man!

I am glad to keep it personal and between us but I will not stand for anyone, no matter whom attacking my character. I feel I am a pretty honsest, straight forward guy who speaks my mind. I don't pussyfoot around and I don't rewrite history to suit my needs either. Now lets leave it and let your club move on.

Look guys, without passing judgement on anyone involved here, I would just like to say that we have a young man who is reading these posts (I refer to Caleb and judging this based on the photo he put in the intro deal) I think it is unfortunate that we are putting forward this image of how "adults" deal with problems. I don't know many of you and most of you probably don't know me. Again I am not picking on any one person, but I know that if I was reading these postings regarding a "club" my son was involved in...he would no longer be involved and that would be unfortunate. I recommend we all step back and evaluate what it is we are trying to do and get the mission accomplished. I believe EVERYONE needs to put a little pride aside or this club is doomed for failure. Just my two cents and...I'm spent.
