Resizing down to avatar size?!?!

I've been trying to resize a picture for my avatar forever. I can not figure out what I am doing wrong... I have Photoshop, but, when I resize it to 150x150, it is still way too big. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have photoshop, use the save for web option and you can set the file size you need. Or just post the picture in here and someone will do it for you

Just another quick question: How come in the larger one, it looks more blue and in the resized it looks smaller.

I cropped the picture to so the coral would be larger and adjusted the levels to take some of the blue out. I can post your original one just resized if you want.

If it's not too big of a deal. The bluer looks more like the real colors....no one likes brown corals

Resizing is easy, just go to image -> image size and put the value you want. The color can be corrected in many different ways with adjustment layers; levels, filters, color balance, and hue are just a few of them.
