Resizing Pics for Posting

This seems to escape me. What is the most effective way to resize photos to post? This what I am working with, Rebel XTI 10 meg camera and Microsoft Digital Image Suite. It seems to take forever to resize an image to post and I know there has to be a much easier process than what I am going through. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This article has the info you need. There's a free program called Irfanview link in article) that is great for resizing. In the article I describe how to resize with Irfanview and Photoshop. Holler if you have any questions.
