Resizing pics

How do you all resize pics for posting here without loosing quality of the picture?? I have a Sony Cybershot 6.0 megapixel camera which takes amazing pics but they are all 3 to 6 megs each and when I try to resize them they get real blurry and small loosing the quality of the picture.
Can anyone help??
