i have 4 lps coral, 1 rbta and a CUC consisting of a 3 shrimps, 2 emerald crabs, 1 turbo snail, 1 conch snail, hermit crabs, and a combination of margarita nerite and cerith snails. I'm planning on redoing my tank is it possible to keep my cuc, corals and rbta in a 10 gallon with no live rock and just sand while i am cycling my new set up tank?? any other suggestions would be appreciated!

You want to focus on the bacteria, you don't need the full nitrogen cycle but you can't have any nitrites near your corals. Putting everything in a small tank without enough bacteria for longer than a day isn't advisable. If you're lucky the sand will be enough but if possible try to avoid a new cycle so you can work quickly. If you can't avoid a cycle then take your time and let the new tank cycle with some new LR, keep the old LR (or part of it) with your corals. When in doubt you should probably post your plan in more detail.
