No kidding that place is overpriced. I think that is the first franchise that I have ever seen that comes into a neighborhood and the local shops go Wooo Hoooo, they are even more expensive then we are. Business is going to be great!!!!!

I just moved here from Ohio, so I'm not sure if the prices are the same at the Aquarium Adventure here or not. In Ohio their livestock prices were ridiculous but their drygood prices were usually good.

Out of all the LFS I've been to, Petland in Schaumburg is a bit pricey. Even more pricey than the Petland in Naperville. They think they can make money just because their brand new and a nice big store. They can't ripped off the experience reefers and they'll get the newbies!!! Once those newbies start going to stores like Beyond the Reef, Advanced Aquatic, Aquatic Reef, ect....and start comparing prices with Petland.....they'll be upset.

Take a look at their prices for dogs. Now they are offering financing, you could buy a car for those prices.

Lots of local shelters around with lots of great dogs and cats just looking for a good home for cheap.
