Retracting Green Flower Pot Coral

Every time I feed my reef tank reef thawed shrimp mix for the fish, the flower pot coral retracts itself and the membranes swell. Is this a normal reaction or should I be concerned? I am also dosing the tank with plankton and coral vite. Thanks in advance!!

Mine does the same thing. Some times it does that at night before I start feeding. I don't know if it's a feeding reaction or what but mine seems fine and it's growing so I must be doing something right

Hey thanks.....I really appreciate that! Mine was doing the same as yours, going in but getting bigger, then one day it retracted the whole way in convering even the flower tips. And it did that for like 2 days. It finally came out the day I posted. I'll keep my eye on it for growth and let me know if you find out something new. Thanks!
