Story time guys.
About a year ago I bought a solarensis wrasse, great looking fish always out swimming. My kids named him Carl. One of my favorite fish in my tank. So a couple months ago I bought a bicolor dottyback. I was a little worried the dottyback would pick on the wrasse but I would have to wait and see.
Within the first week I found my wrasse in the over flow, not sure why Carl ended up in there but I figured the dottyback peer pressured him in to jumping in there,
"Come on Carl I'm sure if you jump over there you can jump back when ever you want."
Needless to say I netted Carl and put him back in the DT.
Fast forward to the next weekend.
We left to go camping for the weekend. When we came home Carl is MIA, nowhere to be found. Not on the floor not in the overflow nowhere. I figured he jumped out and the dog ate him.
Fast forward to yesterday.
With my new LEDs being narrower then my old t5 fixture I get a lot less growth in my overflow so using a mirror I was checking out the inside of my overflow. Nothing out of the ordinary. But I did feel a little splash on my face. When I go to check out my DT what do I see, Carl. He has been living in the tiny over flow for at least 2 months.
Here's hoping everyone gets along and Carl doesn't try to jump for it again. I also had to say sorry to the dog.
Ok enough rambling.
