Return pump questions, or opinions

I have a 7 gal bow front nano tank I just set up. I'm going to add a 10 gallon fuge/sump directly behind it on the same table. Now my question is what kind of pump should I go for. I'm assuming about 1 foot of head plus 3 nintey's to get to my tank, so all and all about 2 1/2 feet of head pressure. So I was thinking about going with a maxi-jet but which one. Will a 1200 be too much flow, or will a 900 be too much. I also plan on having a micro jet on the opposite side of the tank on a wave timer, for more varied current. I want to keep A BTA, a clown fish, a couple snails, and crabs, not much more Maybe a few SPS but I might need more lighting for those. I am new to nano tanks so any help would be greatly appreciated!!

well I went ahead and ordered a maxijet 1200 for my return, and a micro-jet for a puwerhead in the tank, under the overflow box I'm making this weekend. I can't wait!!! |My original hood came with a 14 watt ro, well I took it out and retro'd a 32 watt pc in there on tuesday, and last night I put the 14 watter back in there with it. The tank is pretty bright, and I like it!!
