Return pump recommendation needed

Currently I'm running a Mak4 from my basement to my DT. I would guess that I must have a 6-7 foot vertical run. The Mak4 is really old and it is making a little ticking noise. I've taken a snail and a hermit crab out of it recently, so maybe there was a little damage. I've decided to replace it with something just a little quieter and a little more powerful. All of the pumps sound good when I look at them online, so I would like a recommendation for a replacement. What would you buy. I'm returning the water to a 58 gallon tank with sps corals. I have good circulation in the tank from 4 Tunze 6055's. I am splitting off part of the return flow to go into a 1'x1'x1' refugium. I'm plumbing to 1" tubing.

I'm open to suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I'm running a Mag-18 (I should have gone with the Mag-24), basement set-up with a 60ish gallon main and a 1 1/2 overflow(Glass holes kit). I have roughly 8 feet of head. The pump is turned up all the way with no "T" back to the sump. The mags work well, they are cheap and quiet, under $200.

If budget is not a big issue for you, then Id look at the ReeFlo Snapper Hybrid. About $100 more but it is a much better pump. It will push about 1500 GPH at 7'

Thanks for that info. If the ReeFlow is better, then I'll take a look at that. I'm not looking for a bargain, but rather a pump that will last for 10 to 20 years with some regular maintenance.

What kind of tank is that in your picture? I want to move to a rimless tank in the future and move my old tank to the basement to be a sump/refugium/frag tank.
