Return pump recommendations

Good afternoon everyone , Quick question , what would be a good return pump for a 84x24x24 (220) tank , i have a mag 12 0n it now(running 2 years) with a dual external overflow box, i cannot get one of the overflow tubes to keep a siphon, but the other works fine , my understanding is i need a bigger pump, i am flexible as far as internal/external but would like to see what you guys thought. and if anyone has one cheap and willing to ship to tallahassee, that would be great.

would that be too much flow for my tank ? i was told by local LFS that i only needed 3-5 times turnover and will my external overflow handel that i belive it is only rated for 1200 gph. i have no issues with more turnover if i can get the right equipment to handel it.

Depends on how much flow you want in the tank. FO or Reef?
Iwaki 70 or 100 would do too.
Find them used here on RC.

the dart should be a good pump 4 you i am running a dart on my 180 and love it excellent pump

I would get a mag 18. I like a lot flow in my display but not too much through my sump because I like a lot of contact time with my skimmer and I dont want bubbles getting back into my display ....but that is me.....Each 1 inch hole= 800gph
