return pump shot... how do I...

Shh Lets Not talk Cost!
What is the easiest / best way to keep live rock and live sand alive not in a tank?

Return pump went out on my 20 gal due to power outage last night.

I planed to break this tank down once I got my 75 up and running and move the live rock, sand and fish to it.

Fish are now in the 29 gal in my room so they are fine.

There is no room in the 29 for the rock and sand and the 75 I do not have all the necessary equiptment to set up.

Thanks for any and all reply's

A clean brute can or similar. Heater and powerhead. There's almost no way to prevent it from cycling but water changes will help.

How old is the sand ? You should either throw it out and start fresh or rinse it CLEAN. Reason being is not transfer all the dietrus to your new tank. And like previously posted it is just going to cycle again.
