Return Pump Suggestion

Moving up from a 120 to a 180 need return pump suggestion. Running a Iwaki 40RLXT on the 120 that has had some funny sounds coming from it. So I am going to buy another pump. Can't complain about the Iwaki it has served me well for the past 7yrs with no problems. So what pumps do you guys run on your 180's or just any suggestions.

I would suggest a Sequence Dart. Are u going to run it just for the returns or will u be feeding other equipment? On my 200 i am running the Sequence Hammerhead cause i need to feed my chiller which is outside, my Refuge(also outside), and 2 1.5" returns.

I have a Dart on my 150g, and love it. It's quiet. Not pressure-rated though... just volume.

Thanks for the replies guys . Ben it will be just for return from the sump. Question though the sump will have a fuge in it will there be to much flow? Almost forgot who has the best price on the Dart?

John at FAOIS. I would throw a valve on the output on any just so u can control the flow to your liking. I have one on mine even though its wide open at the moment.

Agreed. I have a ball valve (union) on the Dart output also.
