Returning to the reefing game.....

It's been over a year now since I tore down my tank during my move to my new house. I have finally decided to get back into the hobby and I'm currently working on an in-wall setup in my family room.
I'm going to have to start from scratch with the live stock and was wondering what the latest and most sought after sps corals are. Some pics would be nice if they are available.

After all the help you gave me when I was starting out over 2 years ago , I can only give you all the help that you need. It was because of your great looking tank that I decided to go with a 120 cube in wall. He is the link to my tank from start to finish if you have any ? Please feel free to ask.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

DitchPlains2......it doesn't appear too much have changed since I last remembered. I guess I haven't been out of the loop for too long. I already framed the wall for my 36"x36" tank but I also have it ready for a 4'x3' tank http://home.pacbell.net/deejay27//Claremont/framing.html . I'm still trying to decide which route I will take.


trueblackperc....... Your tank looks great! I noticed that you don't have any access from the front of the tank. Do you have any problems keeping the front glass clean?

funny you mention coming back jimmy. i havent really browsed the sps forum in months and have been out for more than a year. welcome back and hopefully one of these days ill finish up my 360 project which has been idle for ages.
u should get a hold of ming..im sure he has the best stuff out there now.

nope I use this for cleaning the front glass. It floats so I place it on the front pane and walk around and use the other magnet to attach it works like a charm,

Sup Alex.....I still didn't get a chance to take a look at your setup. You should swing on by my new pad when I get this tank up and running. I'm probably around 7 minutes from you. By the way, when are you going to finish up that monster setup of yours?

trueblackperc....that's exactly what I need....a floating magnet. My magnavore doesn't float and I was thinking of what a pain in the butt it would be to get it around the tank. Thanks for the tip.

paul, when u ever come up to the bay area to stay, u can use my 360 as ur reef cuz im not really doing anythign with it..haha.

jimmy, yeah i browsed around your page and saw all that work you did to the downstairs. so when u gonna give up your day job to doing contract work? your downstairs looks bad ***...my 360 monster will never materialize. if i could tear it down i would but i have some obligation to keep it up since a friend of mine helped with half of the setup. let me know when you're done so i can check out the setup.

to these(kind of a downgrade in power but still like both of these since they still have the old school 5.0 pushrod motors). these are probably responsible for the reason why i havent been motivated about reefs...those and also my refound interest in bowling.

Im going to be int he bay for 3weeks begining the 21st of this month. Now what am i gonna do with all my free time? Alex has no tank, jimmy has no tank. Ill jsut have to eat my time away. Maybe well hook up and ill have to convince you to get a real car.

haha..i already knew that was coming. no domestic car bashing on this reef site, ya hear. i like supras but they're expensive, freakin like real estate , appreciating in value.
if i wanted a real car in my dreams id get a zo6 or gt500 mustang.

give me a call when you're up here so we can check out the stores(somethign i havent done in a year probably), mainly ming's and maybe some of the online farmers
jan is starting to get interested in reefs so he'll definitely want to come along. jimmy im sure is down for some motivation. ill send u my number when i catch u online.

I'm never taking on a project like that again......keeping the day job !
