I've gotten bored with my maxi-mini system and want to switch things up. The choice is partly complicated by the fact that I don't want to get a third aquarium. I was considering getting an LTA from another aquarist, but I really don't want to deal with a deep sandbed.

So I've narrowed it down: either I get a mess of sexy shrimp and keep collecting maxi-minis to host them; or I find the maxi-minis a loving new home and restock with a WSM clownfish pair and green bubbletips; or I go with GBTAs, but a different (naturally hosted) clownfish--probably bicinctus. What's your pick? :D

I love the bicinctus idea. Maroons just are not interesting enough to offset some of their problems. Although I love the shrimp disco idea! I had a carpet garden in one tank until I traded it all. I miss it still.

LOL at "shrimp disco". :D It's appealing in a way; I do love the maxi-minis and they're fun to collect. At the same time, 50 gallons seems like a lot of space for such tiny inverts, especially when their size rules out most fish...

Would bicinctus fit comfortably in a 50G?
