It is very unlikely that you would get 0 TDS water. Any "store bought bottled water" I have ever checked has had a TDS of 35 or higher. IMO, much better off going to a reliable LFS for water.
Thanks so much for the feed back. It said on the water unit that it is RO with many different stages. It is self served one and not bottle or gallon jug. My roommmate had picked up some water from Dominick in a gallon jug and the tank did have problem like algea.
Thanks again for the feed back.
Thanks, that is a great idea since i have no TDS meter.
My roommate just pointed out to me last night the RO water station when we was at Whole Food. I thought i would ask for the opinion and advice on here first.
Thanks so much for the feed back.
If it is RO and not RO/DI then there is little chance of it being 0 TDS. To my knowledge there are not any membranes available (even commercial) that have a 100% rejection rate. Therefore the DI is used to remove what the membrane does not. DI is not used for drinking water since it is costly, and not necesary. HTH
